I don’t have disinterest in making them it’s just creative time is the dwindling factor in my artistic endeavors. This particular comic has a # but I can figure out what that # is at the moment. I hope you are doing really well! Today was a really nice day at home and I had a lot of fun! During the afternoon I was on Instagram like so many of us are and I saw on Paul McCartney's story feed that one of his songs from his next album McCartney III was being painted on the side of the Amazon building in Mexico City, Mexico! So I instantly did a little screen shot of the lead sheet and from that made my own little chord chart with lyrics. So I interpreted it as best I could and made a little video as well as instructions on how I play it. I have yet to hear Paul's version so I have no clue if its close to his version. Any way I am really excited about Paul's next album and I hope you are too!

Here are the chords.

Here is my little lead sheet I transcribed from the Amazon Building in Mexico City!

I'll See You Next Time!

Ryan / @TheSpookieMoon

PS: Please Consider Following me on Instagram and Twitter if you enjoy any of this content! I was living in an apartment in Virginia at the time and I started writing songs on it and taking it everywhere. Listening and watching this video now and how I play it, comes off as I was quite a Ukulele Noob some might think. My strumming was a little weak but at the same time the Ukulele might be a little out of tune. So anyway I wrote this song in 2011 and in 2016 when I was working my album Mystic Ukulele I was needing one or two more songs that feature the Ukulele. So I clicked into my Youtube channel and found The Ghost! I instantly re-learned the song and make a new version for my album Mystic Ukulele.

The song is about my old house that I grew up in. Me and my sister thought the house was haunted and my mother and father were oddly the only ones who said they saw the ghost. The first story would have be from my mother. She was in the bathroom downstairs and as she was about to leave the bath room she saw a man standing right in front of the bathroom door. She said she could see the man had no legs and from his waist up was the only part she could see. He said he was a dirty looking man and lanky looking like the late 60s version of Frank Zappa. My father was the only other person to claim to have seen this ghost man. Me and my sister and mother all lived there for many years but for some reason this ghost only showed face to my parents. Ok so my dad and my mother had been separated for a few years at this point and my dad would come over on the weekends take me and my sister to do things like go out to lunch or take us for a walk at Stone Mountain. So one of these Saturdays that my dad had come to pick up me and my sister. My dad was downstairs waiting for me and my sister to get ready to go. You know how teens are... they take forever to get ready to go anywhere. So my dad is sitting downstairs and he sees this dirty gentleman walk down the stairs and go into the kitchen. I later get down stairs and so does my sister and we get into my dads car and start driving down the road and my dad asks me and my sister if my mom was dating a guy and we both said no. My dad then proceeded to ask... who was the guy that I saw walk down the stairs? Me and my sister then looked at each other and both of us at the same time said, "You saw the ghost man!"

Now the song it self is more about the impression I got from the ghost. Again I never saw the ghost man but apparently he was there! I get weird vibes from that house nothing I could explain or understand. For the Ghost song I was just working off the weird vibrations I picked up from the Ghost man!

Other than the video from 2011 you can hear this song in multiple ways.

Spotify - <span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue"; font-size: 12px;"> <a href="https://open.spotify.com/artist/3vWird3CoY8joG0l98a0qI?si=NvFalgyUSTqvpPukm7hA6A" style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue"; font-size: 12px;">https://open.spotify.com/artist/3vWird3CoY8joG0l98a0qI?si=NvFalgyUSTqvpPukm7hA6A

Bandcamp - https://thespookiemoon.bandcamp.com/album/mystic-ukulele

Itunes - https://music.apple.com/us/album/mystic-ukulele/1381127273

Youtube - https://youtu.be/z16LqOu6qZk

Here are the Lyrics!

The Ghost By The Spooky Blue Translucent Moons.

You're so sly, just barely getting by.

Through the cracks in the walls, you wander these halls.

And you feel so alone, Your the ghost of this home.

You're alone! This type is one that is quickly made called “ORR?” & the other is called Moon World Comic. I plan on posting both here in good time, but for now here is a little comic I made today. It’s about the struggle of making comics, something that I think anyone who makes comics can understand. My comics can be weird and not funny at the same time! So watch out!

Eshniner Forest http://www.blogger.com/profile/10200448934812166604noreply@blogger.com0Athens, GA, USA33.9519347 -83.3575675.641700863821157 -118.513817 62.262168536178848 -48.201317tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2210893409955387508.post-44697313790199877502020-12-07T07:00:00.024-08:002020-12-07T07:00:00.196-08:00Omar Mathatron By The Spooky Blue Translucent Moon - Full Album 1998.

My first album from 1998 is now available on YouTube. There are a lot of other things I like to do with my time and sitting in front of a computer promoting my music is just too time consuming.

So if you are interested in listening to my music 🤗

Here are some links!

Bandcamp -

Temples & Pyramids - https://thespookiemoon.bandcamp.com/album/temples-pyramids

Mystic Ukulele - https://thespookiemoon.bandcamp.com/album/mystic-ukulele

iTunes -

Temples & Pyramids - https://music.apple.com/us/album/temples-pyramids/953783522

Mystic Ukulele - https://music.apple.com/us/album/mystic-ukulele/1381127273

Spotify -

Temples & Pyramids - https://open.spotify.com/artist/1tit24ktAWlJUMajlbhE6R?si=8gKshSqDTee2cex6M9B5-g

Mystic Ukulele - https://open.spotify.com/artist/3vWird3CoY8joG0l98a0qI?si=MEcNmgAnScaLmaa563nv3Q

Cheers,

Ryan

Eshniner Forest http://www.blogger.com/profile/10200448934812166604noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2210893409955387508.post-4072708881296105542018-05-17T14:09:00.002-07:002018-05-17T14:23:09.413-07:00Mystic Ukulele by The Spooky Blue Translucent Moons

I think information like this is fascinating. I am not sure if it true or not, but I want to believe it is true. Below is the text that is in this video.

"NASA detected, intercepted, and decoded a mathematically-based distress signal from a purportedly doomed planetoid outside our own galaxy.

The signal was detected in January of 1998 but, however and as it might be expected, it took many years to properly decode the message.

NASA experts claim to have intercepted an intergalactic distress call from an alien civilization that had already peaked and was actually dying when saber-tooth tigers still roamed the earth.

The 80,000-year-old SOS was received and digitally recorded in late January 1998.

But only in 2011 have radio astronomers and language experts found the key to the complex mathematics-based language that enabled them to translate the 'frantic plea for help'.

The world press has been suspiciously silent about the startling message, though lengthy scientific reports are scheduled for publication in two professional journals, Radio Astronomy and Universe.

According to a highly placed NASA source in Houston, Texas, noted Russian superior officer Gen. in ex-Soviet Union’s army, Viktor Kulikov was leading a United Nations research team from a state-operated observatory 50 miles northwest of Moscow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viktor_K...

Gen. Victor Kulikov told Universe that the signal emanated from a point beyond the galaxy nearest to our own, Andromeda, and was sent by beings that had apparently achieved a civilization no more advanced than our own here on Earth.

“The simple fact that we received and decoded the message proves beyond any doubt that their knowledge and technology were, at the very best, within our reach.” Dr. Kulikov explained.

“And while there are years of study ahead of us, I can say with certainty that the death of their civilization was not the result of some cosmic catastrophe. It was the result of the civilization turning on itself, possibly with devastating nuclear weaponry.”

Dr Kulikov flatly refused to provide either of the magazines with a transcript of the message, but he did say it began with the plea, “Help us,” and went on to give data pinpointing the exact position of the doomed planet.

There was a quite lucid account of apocalyptic devastation, hellish explosions, widespread death and terminal illnesses,” he said.

“A Shower of meteors? Perhaps. But what stikes me, and this is just a feeling, is an underlying acceptance of guilt. It’s as if the senders of the message are acknowledging blame for what happened.”

"Whatever it was, they apparently had no means to evacuate the remaining population. Interplanetary space travel was available to them, but only on a very limited level. The message makes it very clear that they were trapped on their world,” said Dr. Kulikov.

The article was written by two journals. NASA simply managed to not get much publicity. At that time the newspapers wrote very little about this issue. When after thirteen years managed to decrypt the message fails to hide from the media."
I don't remember much from this show and I am not sure why we switched around so much on instruments. There was always a lot of talking between songs from what I do remember, mainly because music practice always happened maybe an hour or two prior the show.

I had to remove about 30 albums and singles from my bandcamp page due to the amount of plays I was getting of songs I wrote and recorded over 10 years ago. I did this because I would rather have people hear my newer songs. Currently their are 4 albums up on my bandcamp. I know bandcamp is not preferred by music listeners but it is a good place for an artist to track and listen to their own work if need be. I have taken a screen shot of the one weeks worth of listen data. Magma is the only song with a full listen and is one of the first songs I recorded and its is of horrible quality. I personally have not listened to this song in maybe 3 years.

I should have stream lined my bandcamp a lot time ago. I know I have about 4 real fans out there, so maybe it was one of my fans, however now they have no other option but to hear my most recent recordings.

I once met Donovan in 2006 I want to say. It was for a show he did at a college at Ohio State University. He played all his hit songs from what I remember. After the show, pictured above I got to meet him. It was brief, but he left a huge impression on me and my music. The song I chose to cover is one a band I was in use to perform live. I think we only performed it once or twice, but I found the melody and chord changes to be fascinating.

A friend of mine played on the Late Show last night. He is the sax player in the video above. SPIN magazine wrote a little review about this performance and referred to his playing as giddy. I disagree, I personally think he stole the show, even more so then the singers.
The Life of Pablo By Kanye West is his latest album and features 19 recordings. This is currently the most popular album in the world as of April 2016. I just gave the entire album a listen and it has a few good moments that I wished lasted longer. This album also has a handful of interestingly put together tracks, but the majority are lacking input and seem to be done without a lot of attention. A lot of the more interesting moments that happen are very brief and sometimes never return within the songs and only happen once. In fact that's the basis of my entire opinion of this album is that, it sounds very quickly put together. A lot of these songs sound like they were made in the course of day or afternoon or maybe two. Additionally a lot of the songs end abruptly, or just end and the intro of the track is pasted onto the end creating an ending that the listener already heard. There are a lot of what I would call "Cut and Paste moments" on this album. Toward the end of the album, the sounds get very muddy sounding at times when it comes to sampling. I get an overall vibe of carelessness and lack of attention to detail on this album. I know art and music are very subjective and to each their own, but at this point in our history there is a lot of art and music out there to compare things to. This album in my opinion is lacking composure and attention and was quickly made. I want to say a good handful like 4 or 5 songs are really more interesting and more composed, but for the most part, most of the songs could have been more developed.

Cheers
Here is a song I wrote that is featured on my album Temples and Pyramids from October 2013.

This song is a little pop song & I think really defines the direction of the entire album. Lyrically the song is about moving forward in life and not dwelling in the past in a way that is not self destructive. Musically it reminds you of the later years of The Beatles.
