Been working on a comic called Witches Brew. Its one of those boundless story lines that could go on forever!

Learning Curve.

Realizing you've done or said something stupid in the after effects is how you learn & better your self & at the same time being intuitive enough to realize you've crossed the line takes  experience to better ones self. Without failure... there would be little reason to learn.

Art Bell's Dark Matter. Done?

My favorite radio personality - Art Bell - is saying he is not going to be doing any more Dark Matter shows as of tonight. I hope he turns it around or goes somewhere else. Here are a few statement Art posted on facebook & twitter.

I'll do my thing.

Sometimes its like your lost in the world... I have everything set up & I'm not roaming the streets, pay my bills, have a job, but lately a few people have said some small comments that just get me down slightly, but at the same time I never believe them. Its as if what I'm doing is not normal enough or not good enough as if I deserve better & I think what I'm doing is just fine. I just find it bothersome that others are bothered by my actions that are really not that important at all. Its all just little stuff. Like I won't pay for a hair cut & I cut my own hair. It may not be a perfect hair cut but its fine enough to get by.

You do your thing & I'll do mine.

October is over...

October went by so quickly I don't know where it went, but yet october is still my favorite month. Mainly due to the cooler weather. Warm temperatures are not really my thing. I like seeing the leaves change plus its not super cold yet so that is my main deal... mostly. I do like halloween but this year I kind of dipped out on most any social activity mainly due to work.

The best things that happened were I got to see Quasi & Brian Wilson.

In november circulatory system is playing late in the month.

I am not going to be working on any new music until next year.

Brian Wilson / Jeff Beck.

Last Night I attended - Brian Wilson & Jeff Beck at the Chastain Park Amphitheater. Above is a video of a few songs I filmed. The sound is outstanding however I know the video is... quite distant.

I have to say it was overall a great concert! I really could have done without so much of Jeff Beck's performance, however I did like most of the Jeff Beck band songs... I just would never buy any Jeff Beck's Records. Jeff's Songs are quite heavy at times and one or two really ambient. I am guessing he also played a few cover instrumentals that people seemed to cheer at when the songs arose. I only knew of 2 of the Covers he played both being Beatles songs.... 1. A day in the life & 2. In my life.

In the few times that Brian Wilson did speak, I noticed he was a lot more confident when had a comment or something to say. Al Jardine was also playing guitar and singing & he had a story how the song, Hearts were full of Spring & that it was the first song they would sing before they were even called the Beach Boys. The concert was really nice as usual & I love Brian's Wilson songs so much it is just hard to complain.

A few of the songs I was surprised to hear live such as... Little Bird & She Knows Me.

The last time I saw Brian in concert was during the Smile tour of 2005 & I hope to see Brain Wilson next year.

Temples & Pyramids / Album Summary.

TEMPLES & PYRAMIDS, is Eshniner Forest's 8th, full length album & was recorded from January - September 2013.

ALBUM SUMMARY: " I just wanted to write a collection of fun and exciting songs that were more upbeat as well as have a much more dynamic sound. With Spectacle Sunrise it had a lot of darkness and was not a full sounding as I would have liked it to be... & I mainly wanted to put more time into recording and completely contrast Spectacle Sunrise & FILTH in every way possible. I also wanted pull back into the forefront the kind of creativity that I had on Halloween Tape & do things in a way that didn't make sense direction wise. When I say "didn't make sense" I mean, take musical risks that I would not normally do now. I have noticed I tend to go in a very contemporary direction, because It is quick, but with these songs, I wanted to echo the kind of conceptual songs like on Brian Wilson's SMILE as well as that era of the late 60's that I love! "

Time

When are we going to just slow down & just enjoy life? Its just rush rush rush all the dang time. I'm to young for retirement but good gosh I get it & have done enough boring ass useless activity for other people / money in my life & overall... I'm just bored out of my mind!!! I want to live / not be slowed down by our culture. I want to inspire others & just live in happiness, before I'm an old old man.

All right... I must sleep. :-)

The Future... Album...

Things to come of Eshniner Forest... I am working on an album for this year... a lot of songs have been written and just a few more need to be recorded. I have to say its the most dynamic collection yet. I keep thinking about making a Rock n Roll album & a few rock songs have come through but at the same time I am just really enjoying using the piano as my main writing tool.

I did make a video recently... for the song temples and pyramids.
