I hope everyone is having an excellent Christmas! Merry Christmas!

SOHO / Solar Heliospheric Observatory.

Image
This visual is from the SOHO / Solar Heliospheric Observatory that orbits around the sun. You can see all kind of stuff flying around in these images as well as the sun's discharges from the link above.  On this SOHO sight you can create a gif and even save it to your computer if you care to. To get the view above, Select - LASCO C3 and enter a start date and end date and press search and then wait a bit watch the Sun! As I said you can see a lot more then just the sun, you can see planets. Planets reflect vertical lines off them & move slowly. I would guess maybe the other stuff you see from the SOHO could the defined as space junk. It is hard to really know... but it is interesting. Cheers! Eshniner F.

Gimme Some Truth, The Making Of John Lennon's Imagine.

I watched this last night and found the whole thing rather interesting. To see anything that shows the creative process of John Lennon is interesting. I would have rather watched a literal making of Johns first solo album, but I don't think that is out there. It seems to me like Phil Spectors presents is almost useless. At one point Phil is messing around and trying to add echo to one of the songs and it is hard to tell what he says, but you can tell the "wall of sound" thing isn't working out. Also there is one point where Phil and John are going to add harmonies to "Oh Yoko" and Phil is holding back from singing, when they are trying to sing. I am not sure if Phil is actually on the album singing, but at the same time they where having trouble with finding the correct point in the song to do the harmonies due to the engineer not being able to find the point John wanted to sing harmonies on. Additionally at one point John says to Phil after record

Pluto Orbiting a Dark Object.

Source: BP EARTH WATCH This is all speculative but I think there is some interesting information in this video about Pluto. One of the images taken shows some dark spots as well as the orbital paths of pluto as well as its moons are very interesting. Thanks  BPEARTHWATCH  for posting this.

Super Barbarian Time Travel 2 ( Purchasing Opportunities )

Image
Here is a list of all the site as well as links to sites where you can buy and download the album Super Barbarian Time Travel 2. Additionally, Someone by the name is Raging Bull 7 wrote a little review of the album... it is a very passionate review. ITUNES AMAZON MP3 E MUSIC RHAPOSDY SPOTIFY BANDCAMP Incredible...!!  FIVE STARS by Raging Bull 7           This is perhaps one of the most inspiring works of music I have ever heard in my entire life!! Track #6, Donkey & Plow, is perhaps the greatest track on the album. I empathize particularly with the lyrics of this song; "I feel like a donkey pulling a wagon..." Track #10, Buffalo Run, is also brilliantly done. I'd never heard of Eishniner Forest before but now its become one of my favorite bands ...after the Beatles of course. I do hope i-Tunes gets hold of any future albums by Eishniner Forest!

Check out my cover of - Last Train To Clarksville - Originally By The Monkees!

The Monkees - Behind the Music.

Dragoon Babi & One Night at a Time.

Here are two songs I have recently recorded for two different albums. Dragoon Babi is a Rock Jam sort of thing... I plan for it to be the final track of the Dragoon Babi Kluster Album. It will be a short album of about 5 songs. One Night at a Time is a little pop rock single that I wrote and recorded in about 8 hours of time. This song will be on the 10th Eshniner Forest album. The next Eshniner album will be about 10 or 12 songs long. I don't want it to be as long as Temples and Pyramids , because I want to make an album that is worth 10 to 12 dollars. I ultimately would like to be paid for my music... but for now most all my music is free on my Eshniner Forest Bandcamp Page . Cheers: Ryan of Eshniner

NASA Voyager: 'Tsunami Wave' Still Flies Through Interstellar Space

Voyager 1 went into Interstellar Space earlier this year & Nasa JPL just posted this video of the sounds it recorded. Quite amazing if you ask me.

Temples & Pyramids By Eshniner Forest ( Album Review )

Image
Temples and Pyramids is Eshniner Forest's 8th Full Length Album & it was released on October 31st 2013. The album contains 18 songs that were all composed during the previous year. All the songs were later recorded from January to September of 2013.  Temples and Pyramids is an homage to the music and song writing styles of the late 60's. The main influence of Temples and Pyramids, is Brian Wilson's 2004 released of SMILE . Eshniner Forest wanted to write songs that were just as entertaining stylistically & musically to the best of Eshniner Forest's ability. Eshniner Forest also wanted the songs to be full of rich fun sounds and textures unlike Eshniner Forest's previous album Spectacle Sunrise . Eshniner Forest wanted the difference between Spectacle Sunrise and Temples and Pyramids to be a gigantic leap. So much so that if an outsider heard both albums & did not know the artist, the person would think the two albums were written by 2 d

Musical Update!

Image
I have been recording quite a bit lately... well not a lot but I have enough now to actually talk about. I am working on two albums, one being a short album with about 5 or so songs under the name Dragoon Babi Kluster. The idea is that I'm pretend to be a foreign punk band with indiscernible accents. So far there are only 2 songs and both have different accents. Musically it is reminiscent of Bikini Kill or The Germs with synthesizer's. None of the Lyrics go to deep... it is mostly just an expression and love of the punk / Do It Yourself genera. The second album is Eshniner Forest's 10th album. I have about 4 or 5 songs completed & want it to have about 10 songs in total for the entire album. I only want it to be 10 songs, because ultimately I would like it to only cost about 10 dollars. My last album had 18 tracks & I want to sell it for close to 20 dollars. I know I don't really mention money to often but it would be nice, if some day people actually liked

Temples & Pyramids By Eshniner Forest / Album Cover Update!

Image
This is the new cover art for Temples & Pyramids Album. It is mostly pencil and black pen ink. The original cover art was a composited Image taken from a computer game... so it was completely unoriginal & that always bothered me so I finally got around to redrawing the whole thing & I feel much better about it. This is the back side of the Album... that I don't think I have ever posted.

Santa on the Moon! Internet Single # 6

Image
I have recorded my 6th Internet Single & it was released a few weeks ago. It is the holiday season & I like to have a Christmas single every December. It has a version of Jingle Bell's on it as well as a little personal Christmas Message from myself. Santa on the Moon is a silly little song with no real reason or logic behind it. I was thinking of the Beach Boys Christmas Song... Santa's Got An Airplane . Check out SANTA ON THE MOON ! You can either listen to on that page or download it. The Santa on the Moon Single is Free Free Free as are most all my other albums on my BANDCAMP page.

Eshniner Forest's Top 10 Movie's!

Here is a list of my top ten movie's of my life. I am not really one to watch a lot of movie's & as you can see my favorite films are not even in the last 2 decade's. I do like a few things that came out such as the 2005 Hitch Hikers Guide film & I do like the Iron Man films... but they don't blow my mind. The stuff I really love is the Monty Python Films & the Back to the Future films. Those to me really captured my imagination as a kid & teenager. I am also a huge Mel Brooks fan, but sadly I could not fit any of his films in a frame of just ten. So here it is... my top ten films. 1: Back to the Future - 1985 2: Star War's The Empire Strikes Back - 1980 3: The Great Dictator - 1940 4: Modern Time's - 1936 5: Back to the Future 2 - 1989 6: Ghost Buster's - 1984 7: The Planet of the Ape's - 1968 8: Pee Wee's Big Adventure - 1985 9: Monty Pythons & The Holy Grail - 1975 10: The Jerk - 1979 -Eshniner Forest.

Emptiness is Nowhere!

Image
I have turned up the heat a bit around here... I have been recording a bit & feel I am getting back in the recording game. Last night I said out loud as I was eating dinner... "I am going to record a whole album in an hours time!" and I did just that... Check it out if your interested, It is titled Emptiness is Nowhere ... It is a simplistic sort of album. I was thinking about John and Yoko's Wedding Album as well as their first album Two Virgins . I liked the idea of making an album of short tape recordings... I would have used a tape recorder but I got a similar result by just using a computer. I wanted to convey my recent thoughts and emotions as well open a little "window of me" without going to deep and to just keep things simple. Tonight I also recorded a cover of Jingle Bells the Christmas song. I would like to record a few more Christmas songs, but I am not to interested in making a whole album... maybe I will just stick to recording one

Getting Dimmer & Dimmer.

I would like to give you more as an artist... but as it is I have always struggled with having a fan base via the internet... I know going out and playing live is a better path to gain "fans" but I find meeting people tiresome. It is possible... I think... but the manner I am going about it is just not working and I really don't know what to do. It just seems like it is best if my musical dreams lay on the back burner forever as a hobby. I think it is best just to create content at my own pace. I think more interactive videos is the way to go... just not myself playing a cover... possibly a VLOG of some kind. As hopeful as creating something to hear or see is via the internet is... the likelihood of someone else experiencing it other then myself is almost zero. I would love to make more and create more and post more, but with out a reason to post something... I find the result of no interactions boring. I know it only takes one thing to get a billion views, but I am

Temples & Pyramids Cover Art Update.

Here is the revamped cover art for my last album temples and pyramids! It is very exciting looking and I like it a lot and I hope you like it too!!!

Social Media Buggin You?

Image
I have this blog but other life activities happen & you forget about it for a while & then I'll remember I have a blog again & then I'll use again until I forget again. Its the life of a blog I guess. I mostly post on twitter because it is easy to say things quickly & have a few people actually read it but here ( this blog ) is an empty void waiting for random readers. I have noticed on facebook if I post something original like a comic or a song it gets far less views then if I post a little text update. It seems the simpler & less time is oriented in the post the more people see it. So if you put your heart into something artistic no one cares or has the time for, but if you say something brief in text it gets read because it only takes a few seconds to read. I personally will click on a friends song or read a friends comic & spend maybe a little extra time checking out their art or music online. I will even leave a comment or a like if I like it. I g

Clouds! Day #2. 2nd Entry

Image
More amazing clouds coming from the east. Looks like the next clear sky will be on wednesday in the morning. Thursday is estimated to be mostly sunny & friday is clear with slight chance of rain. I will be trying to get some moon shots on friday. Cross your fingers. Also these radar images are not detailed enough. They only show clouds in higher regions. A lot of the main cloud coverage is very low.

Clouds Day #2

A lot of cloud cover today. I saw the moon briefly around 6:20am but it was quickly covered by think cloud cover.

I am making a visual record of the weather particularly on the weekends.

3 Videos a week?

Image
I know no one really cares what I do & don't do & why I am writing this text is almost totally useless other then it being a really cool thing for myself to read later.... but I will be starting to post at least 2 videos a week on my youtube channel eshninerforest3 . At least ever monday & friday someone other then my self will get the lucky opportunity to hear & see the music I make. So... yes get ready to watch some live action music videos of Eshniner.

My Top Ten Video Games.

Image
I mostly only have been interested in Nintendo games all my life. I like the challenges & the pergressive difficulty they provide as well as the style & I have always stuck with action adventure. Mario Kart is really the only sports related game i've ever gotten into but as much as I love all the Mario Kart games, I excluded them from my list because Mario Kart would take up 6 positions on this list.... so here is my top 10 games of all time. 10: Contra. NES 9: Mega Man 1. NES 8: Star Fox. N64 7: Zelda-Link to the Past. SNES 6: Super Metroid. SNES 5: Star Wars - X-Wing. PC 4: Minecraft. PC 3: Super Mario World. SNES 2: Super Mario Brothers 3. NES 1: Zelda-Link's Awakening DX. GBC

I got a copy of Mario Kart 8 today & well it's great!

Musical Goals.

Image
I have been working on quite a few new songs. At least 7 songs but have yet to record anything. Life has been quite busy with maintaining a stable foundation. It is all good are fare & recording time is just around the corner. Keep on the look out for my next musical single. Cheers!

Trouble not for me.

Image
What's the deal with humans? Some of them I just don't understand nor do I want to understand, but when these "off the beaten track humans" start to engage me in some conversation that makes me want run for my life... then I start to think.... go away. Being kind hearted can only last so long & when events start to repeat & form some sort of disruption of my happy go lucky self... then its time to stop this bull crap. I like dogs... they don't talk.

Time Traveling Proof!

Image
Where are the time travelers? Recently in the news people have come up with the genius idea to look for key historical events on the internet that mention these key events prior to the event happening in the hope to prove time travelers are real. There are sites that would never come up on search engines. On google the only way searches work is if the site has been posted on another site via a link. So even if there is internet proof it is most likely in a place that is unsearchable, but hopefully time travelers are lazy & would post information on a public forum such as facebook.

Sid & Marty Kroft.

Image
I must say I really enjoy the Kroft brothers tv shows. Lydsville is my favorite followed by Land of the Lost. Some of the writers for the original Star Trek wrote for land of the lost. I also wish Far out Space Nuts was out on DVD.

Somewhere out there...

Image
How can you put all your eggs in one basket and say the only life in the entire universe that exists is on planet earth? I would think if that's all you want to believe, then you are not even giving humanity the chance to even to gain enough technology to possibly become what I think is most inevitable outcome. It might take us another 3000 years or more or less, but sooner or later we will be leaving earth for some reason, unless we destroy our selves.  Sooner or later I would think any sort of developing intelligence would ultimately become a space faring race. The universe is the oldest thing to ever exist & to say that earth is the only habitable planet in the entire universe is quite a statement. A statement that I would find incredible boring & as said in the movie contact... " An incredible waist of space." Why would you even want to believe that Earth is only planet with a race of self awareness, intelligence & the ability to adapt? As of February

Snow in the south!

The last few days... I have been in the house eating soup & hanging out with a dog (Nelson). Its been an adventure.

Car Painted with Snow.

Image
My car is painted white!! Snow White!! Oooo! :-)

The internet is weak.

Image
I recently started a star trek voyager twitter account & I post pictures with dumb subtitles from the show. I started it as a kind of test, to learn more about twitter & following large amounts of random people & I'm getting followers faster then my personal account. I find it dumb that all I do is take screen shots & post them with sub titles & it grasps peoples attention more so then anything else i've put on the internet. Its seems the more effort you put into something its to more difficult to grasp. Maybe its a time aspect... if what you see on the internet takes more then a few seconds to think about... then most will just ignore it or move on. On my band camp site most of the listening times are just a few seconds & rarely do they listen to a full song. I find this information a downer. Grow an attention span people.

Internet Persona.

Image
I hate it when you loose a friend to pitiful little things. It just seems so boring on the grand scale of things... I guess you just can't win them all. I am very likable in person well at least I think so... I guess I can understand how my internet persona can be a pain when you read something like "Seven of Butt" or "moo years day" on twitter, however its not all that thin of subject matter on the other side of the mobile device. What else is there really to tell a bunch of people you don't want to get to know... other then complete bull shit & hopefully its at least funny bull shit.  I guess I just wish things were different. I guess things were not as internet cool as I thought... as I said... you can't win them all. However the internet is super cool & you can't let these little interactions get you down.  I love Star Trek B-) !!!

My Creative Work...

Image
I'm getting to a point where I am not seeing the point in doing anything creative in the hopes that I inspire someone. Maybe I am going at it all wrong... & I don't think I am, but as a song writer, I would like to hope he or she has fans / a listening audience. I personally hardly see anything from others in the ways of "getting totally giddy" about my creative side. Maybe my music does suck, but i've heard music by friends of mine & they make terrible music & they have more fans. No one seems to go out of their way to hear my latest recording. I do my best & share enthusiasm about others work such as friends of mine whom write, record, draw & paint & its all like good in the moment & at the same time you try to be nice even when what they made is horrific & at the same time some are beyond amazing!  I just don't get it... I know my music is not what a lot of people want to hear. Its the kind of stuff that takes an acquired ta
